Current news on the world’s most celebrated golfer, Tiger Woods, indicates the sports star is busy making a come back into the limelight; moving steadily toward his lost glory.

The news indicates it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone if Tiger should hit the hole in a single stroke from the tee on a par-3. But how is that? This is the same man we’d almost lost hope to ever make a comeback in golf about four years ago. Tiger has crossed paths with magic! And I think I know what that is….

Reuters news agency reports Tiger Woods felt “great” after playing the first Quicken Loans National PGA golf tournament this June 2014. The Quicken Loans National is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in the Washington D.C. area. Tiger played the game at the Congressional Country Club at Bethesda, Maryland, US June 25, 2014 where he would later return to compete for titles with other golfers including emerging 20-year-old American Jordan Spieth and Australian Jason Day.

The tee-offs have followed Tiger’s three-month absence from golf, when he missed the games because he had a medical issue, according to Reuters. But he is back on the golf course and doing great.

If you asked me why the golf icon is making a solid return to golf, I’d say it most probably has to do with his emotional stability. Tiger Woods lost his grip on the golf club in 2010 following a messy divorce with his Swedish wife , Elin Nordegren.  Tiger Woods is now dating the American skiing super-star and TV journalist Lindsey Vonn.

There are many things men don’t say about women. One of these things being their magical power to re-install man’s self-confidence.

Tiger Woods spoke at the opening ceremony for the Congressional Country Club tee offs on Wednesday with his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn by his side, according to media reports. The tournament benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. Tiger looked quite solemn, supported by a woman of strikingly magical beauty, Lindsey Vonn.

Lindsey Caroline Vonn was born October 18, 1984. She is an American World Cup alpine ski racer on the United States Ski Team. She has won four World Cup championships—one of two female skiers to do so, along with Annemarie Moser-Pröll—with three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009 and 2010, plus another in 2012.

Lindsey Vonn won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the first ever in the event for an American woman. She has also won six consecutive World Cup season titles in the downhill discipline (2008–2013), four consecutive titles in super-G (2009–2012), and three consecutive titles in the combined (2010–2012).

Lindsey Vonn is one of six women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing – downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom, and super combined – and won 59 World Cup races in her career through February 2014. Lindsey Vonn received the Laureus World Sports Awards Sportswoman of the Year for 2010. She was also honored again as the USOC’s sportswoman of the year for 2010. In journalism, Vonn was a correspondent for NBC News covering the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

In Tiger Woods love life, the skiing super-star appears set to replace the Swedish Elin Maria Pernilla Nordegren, the golfer’s former wife born on 1st January 1980 in Stockholm. The divorce was sparked by revelations Tiger was sleeping with another white woman, Rachel Uchitel. (Details of this story can be found here:  The Night Tiger Woods Lost His Wife).

But the past seems left in the past for both Tiger and his divorced Swedish wife and mother of two. Tiger struggled to a three-over par 74 in his PGA return tournament at the Country Club, after a three-month injury layoff, but was optimistic after birdies on three of his last six holes at the National.

The 14-time major champion couldn’t consistently summon the skill that drew worldwide audiences to him in his first comeback round, but he improved to the finish in his first warm-up for the July 2014  British Open.
“The more I played, the more I felt comfortable about shot selections, my sight lines, all different things,” Woods said overnight. “I played a lot better than the score indicated, which is good.”

On a Congressional Country Club layout where Woods won in 2009 and 2012, he struggled early after not playing competitively for 109 days due to back surgery to relieve a pinched nerve. But Woods said his back was not a problem at any point in the round.  “The back is great,” Woods said.
